Colin Giles (he/him)
Born and raised in Ireland, Colin came to Australia in early 2003. He has performed in numerous productions in Canberra, his favourites including that of Macduff in Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Max in Harold Pinter’s Homecoming, the explosive and vile Juror #10 in 12 Angry Men, Groom-To-Be, Adam, in Queers and most recently as the kind hearted but socially awkward Tony in Beautiful Thing.
He has starred in several award-winning Short Films presented at festivals around the world; including a lead role in ‘Dying Art’ which won the best Australian short film award at the Irish Australian Film Festival in 2018.
Having not appeared on stage since 2022, this is Colin’s first outing with Chaika, returning for the opportunity to perform one of his dream roles as Mark Antony.
