Crystal Mahon (She/Her)
Crystal was last seen onstage at ACT Hub as Hesther Salomon in Free Rain’s Equus, which she also contributed to as Assistant Director (Ovations Award winner – Soundscape design 2025).
Previous roles include Liz Essendine in Present Laughter (Ovations Award Best Actor nomination 2025); The Messenger in Greek Theatre Now’s production of Sophocles’ Antigone (2025); Ivy Weston in Free Rain’s August: Osage County (Ovations Award Best Supporting Actor nomination 2024); Lady Capulet in REP’s Romeo and Juliet (2023); and Mrs Eynsford-Hill in Tempo’s Pygmalion (2023).
Prior to that she played Cynthia Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen, Justice Charlier in Rock of Ages and Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers (MAT Award, Best Actress) at the Morseby Arts Theatre in PNG, where she worked and lived for several years pre-pandemic.
Crystal’s day job is a Drama/Theatre teacher and school leader. In this role she has had the great pleasure to direct and production manage myriad drama and musical productions, as well as foster the creative and personal growth of hundreds of young people through immersion in the Performing Arts.
She is thrilled to be collaborating with Jarrad and her very talented ‘sisters’ to bring the fabulously fun 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche to the ACT Hub stage in 2026.
